Measure Agarose

You will be making an agarose gel. Agarose comes in powdered form and is based on a gelling compound found in seaweed. Researchers in the CSI laboratory typically use a 1% agarose gel. A 1% gel will be less dense than the 2% gel and will provide less resistance to the molecules.
